Nortec Trail Micro Crampons have been tested in many winter trail and mountain running competitions. Nortec sponsored TorX a group of four ultra-demanding races including the Tor de Geants a 330KM mountain top race in the Alps. Marco De Gasperi – Skyrunning World Champion 2017 – was instrumentally involved in the development of Nortec TRAIL and uses it for his races.

SIZING/FIT
The featured size guide (see image gallery) is for the product being used on a training or trail shoe, both of which need a close fit, especially when mountain running. Nortec TRAIL should NOT be used for Fell Running and other types of running where the product will be exposed to considerable contact with rocks. This is because the construction and manufacturing of the minimal design is specifically lightweight for competitive running on hard packed snow and ice. It is not robust enough to withstand frequent contact with rock.
